Assistant Professor, Department of Counseling & Health 小组chology
My approach to teaching is based in the belief that learning is a life-long process, for both students and myself. It centers on collaborate efforts that encourage the integration of research and experiential experiences through application and reflection. Expanding one’s way of thinking and living outside of our comfort zone is essential for growth. Therefore, I encourage new ways of interpretation and continued questioning and evaluation. The commitment to expanding one’s lens in terms of how we view psychological issues is a crucial ingredient in professional and personal growth and vital to the helping field. The ability to think holistically is essential, as there are many moving parts that impact the person on many levels.
